It looks like Jim might be getting married twice this year. First will be the on-screen marriage to Pam (who is also engaged IRL) at some point this season, and now he’s engaged to girlfriend Emily Blunt.
Blunt and Krasinski have been dating since November 2008, but no date has yet been set for the wedding.
You may know her better as Pam Beesly, but Jenna Fischer is now engaged to her real-life boyfriend Lee Kirk.
He popped the question while the couple was vacationing in Europe last month. No word on a wedding date yet.
A few interesting tidbits from the Silverman-Graboff executive session a few days ago, brought to us by TV Squad.
First, Amy Poehler will be coming to a new show, but it won’t be the famed “Office” spin-off. However, Rashida Jones (better known as Karen from the current Office series) is likely going to join the spin-off cast.
The Amy Poehler show will likely debut in March, with an Office kind of feel. According to Silverman:
they came up with two ideas, one which is totally a spinoff which they’re pursuing planted inside, using Office characters, and there was a parallel concept that’s stylistically like The Office, but not part of the Office world.
With that in mind, it could be a fun show too. We’ll keep you updated as more details emerge.
